THE FOREVER WINTER

Long before The Forever Winter became the game it is today, it began as a creative collaboration between a tight group of artists and developers, pushing the boundaries of what we could create with the tools and limitations of the time.

While working together at Adhesive Games on Hawken, Miles Williams was bringing together artists such as Rael Lyra, Kai Lim, Richard Dumont, and others to explore characters and build a world simply because we loved making things. What started as an art and worldbuilding project eventually grew far beyond what any of us could have known at the time.

Some of the early character work dates back to 2011–2012. More than a decade later, seeing these characters in-game is pretty special. It's a good feeling to see a world created with a great group of people, purely for the love of the work, eventually become something real.
